I would like some help in querying for all commits in as many java repos as possible

Hi all,
I'm going to be a bit of a bother, but I'm quite stuck on this problem and I would really appreciate some assistance.

I'm working on my thesis, and to complete my artefact I require as many commit histories for as many Java repos as possible.

I have tried big query and even ghtorrent with no luck.
If someone could assist me in writing a query or maybe point me to a collection, I would be so grateful.
