Portable Brave structure changed? How to migrate current settings+web extensions?

I got the impression that package

brave-v1.80.117-win32-x64.zip

from https://github.com/brave/brave-browser/releases

is now the current, most recent Brave Portable release.
Hmm. Is this correct?

I download and extracted it but saw a complete different folder structure.
Where are the "app" and "data" sub folders now?

How can I migrate all the settings and WebExtenions from previous v.178 Brave Portable to new v1.80 Brave Portable?

The releases on /brave-browser/ are not portable, my script dumps the newest version from a zip to to the \app. subfolder in this brave portable....
